Has fallen
cycling after seventy years.

Her casket embroidered
with gold lions, harps,
and Queen Mothers jeweled apex.

Leaving behind
unstained trotting marble
furnished gems
stolen memorabilia
gleeful /dispirited hosts
and unruly descendants
who wear pretty coat of arms.

A bitter commemoration
this telegram.
I will not celebrate the death of one oppressor
who will birth a new one.
I wonder what coat it’ll wear?
