I Know

by PW Covington

I’m one little man
&&on a bed
In one little room
&&of one little place
Down a little dirt alley
&&off a little traveled street
In an oft forgotten city,
&&as cities go

But, I know
The poems of humming birds
And all the mountain trails
To ephemeral
&&paradise.
