Two Haikus

by Gerard Sarnat

Worn Out
heartbreak: life now upside down,
they are adornments.

Best thing ‘bout six grand                              love, again, again,
kids is opportunity                                          again, again, yet again
each time to fall in                                        — and maybe again.
